Xiaomi recently launched its first Android One smartphone, Mi A1. The smartphone also marks a comeback for Google’s Android One platform in the country. The last Android One smartphone launched in India was Lava Pixel V1 in 2015. Running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and QualcommSnapdragon 625 octa-core processor, Xiaomi A1 is claimed to be the most ‘powerful Android One’ smartphone launched so far.


At its price of Rs 14,999, the Xiaomi Mi A1 adds to the burgeoning list of mid-range smartphones launched in India in the past few weeks. Other than Xiaomi , Panasonic, Nokia , Micromax, Lenovo and its sister brand Moto have launched devices in this price segment in the past month.
